Mission Statement
To provide refuge for unwanted farmed animals, to further their welfare through education of the public, and to foster ethics of compassion and responsibility towards nonhuman animals by advocating a vegan lifestyle.
About
Animal Place rescues farmed animals in need, provides them sanctuary, and advocates on their behalf. We teach humane education to help spread awareness of farm animal sentience. And we work with the community to help end animal cruelty!
To get involved: If you are interested in becoming an Animal Socializer or an Animal Care & Cleaning volunteer, please attend a new volunteer orientation first. After orientation, you may move on the the Training Shifts. Animal Socializers require at least one training shift. Animal Care & Cleaning volunteers require at least 2 training shifts.
After training is complete, you may sign up to for solo shifts under the Animal Care section.
For events, office work, or work parties, no experience or orientation is needed! Just sign up for any shifts you're interested in!
